We invite you for a trip to the Ethnographic Museum in Toruń that will take place on the 17th of April 2019 (Wednesday) at 12:00.
Address: Wały Generała Władysława Sikorskiego 19.
At the museum, founded in 1959 by Polish ethnographer professor Maria Znamierowska-Prüfferowa, we’ll meet with an ethnologist who will introduce us to the museum collection. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the heritage of Polish folk culture, both tangible and intangible. We’ll also see original architectonic objects from the XVIII and XIX centuries – including insides of rustic cottages, which will be decorated for upcoming Easter. This will help us discover traditional Polish design and decorative art such as: spiders, paper cut-outs, tissue paper flowers and Easter eggs.
The meeting will be carried out in Polish. In order to participate you need to sign up: https://tiny.pl/ttwq3
